Laura is our Student Services and Safeguarding Officer here at BioGrad Training. Laura started with BioGrad Diagnostics in July 2021 as part of the Customer Service Team before moving over to the Training Department. Before joining BioGrad, Laura lived in Greece working as a School Coordinator in a refugee camp. The main focus there was creating safe spaces and developing students social-psycho wellbeing through language classes and recreational projects. One of her biggest challenges whilst working in Greece was trying to find ways to continue services safely online during the pandemic with no Wi-Fi connection and only mobile phones to connect the students.
Laura attended university in London where she studied International Development & Youth and Community Studies. After that, Laura moved to Manchester to work on a national youth summer programme, ensuring all inclusion and medical logistics were in place. Laura is excited to be part of the team here at BioGrad Training as this is the first time she has been back working in Liverpool for a long time.
